eGCA Logbook Autofill

We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your data — ever.

This extension runs entirely inside your own browser. Nothing you enter, upload, or fill leaves your computer, except to the eGCA form on the page you're already logged into.

1.What this extension does

eGCA Logbook Autofill reads a CSV file that you choose from your own computer and uses it to fill in fields on the DGCA eGCA "Air Traffic Controllers e-Log Book" duty-entry form, one duty at a time. It never submits the form for you — every entry is reviewed and submitted by you, manually.

2.What data it touches, and where it goes

Your CSV file

Selected by you through a standard file picker in the extension popup. It is read directly by your browser and used only to fill the fields on the currently open eGCA page. It is never uploaded, copied, or sent anywhere.

The eGCA page itself

The extension only reads and writes form fields on www.dgca.gov.in — the exact page you're already logged into and working on. It doesn't visit, read, or modify any other website.

Permission requested	What it's used for
`activeTab`	Lets the extension act on the eGCA tab only while you're actively using it.
`scripting`	Lets the extension fill in form fields on the eGCA page.
Host access to `dgca.gov.in`	Limits the extension to that one site — it has no access to any other page you visit.

3.What we don't do

We don't collect any personal, employment, or duty-record data.
We don't store anything — not on your device, not on any server. There is no server. Nothing is saved once you close the tab.
We don't transmit any data to us, to DGCA, to any third party, or to any analytics or tracking service.
We don't use cookies, local storage, or any other tracking technology.
We don't access your browsing history, other tabs, or any site other than the eGCA page.
We don't submit anything on your behalf. Clicking "Submit" on the eGCA form is always your own action.

4.What actually happens, in plain terms

You pick a CSV file from your own computer.
Your browser reads it, locally, in memory.
The extension fills matching fields on the eGCA page that's already open in your browser.
You review what was filled.
You click Add and Submit yourself, when you're ready.

At no point does the file, its contents, or anything you type get sent anywhere except into the eGCA form fields on the page in front of you.

5.Changes to this policy

If this extension's behavior ever changes in a way that affects this policy, this page will be updated accordingly, and the version number in the extension will reflect the change.
